Super Affordable Top Shelf Software for Nonprofits

This week we had the opportunity to get one of our clients up and and running with a TechSoup account.

Given the disappointing performance of so many nonprofit purchasing cooperatives, resource clearinghouses and other “special deals for nonprofits,” I thought a great experience deserved a shout out. Bravo to the folks at TechSoup for providing “nonprofits and libraries with technology that empowers them to fulfill their missions and serve their communities”.

For a fraction of market costs, TechSoup (itself a nonprofit) provides technology products and information geared specifically to the unique challenges faced by the charitable sector.

From their website: “Once qualified with TechSoup, nonprofits and libraries can access 400+ technology products from more than 40 donor partners — including Microsoft, Adobe, Cisco, Intuit, and Symantec. All donated and discounted products are available for a small admin fee that supports our work in the United States and around the world.”

Especially for the small to mid sized nonprofit organization working with a limited budget and needing sharp technology to keep things cranking at peak efficiency, TechSoup is well worth a look!
